Reviews
There are a lot of characters introduced at the beginning which I thought would be
confusing but it was not. How a lot of the characters converge makes for
interesting reading. This is a fast paced and intriguing book which is like most of
his books. John Ohara is after a killer who took out a honeymooning couple whose
father is very wealthy and he wants the killer found. Ohara is suspended from the
FBI because he is a cannon waiting to go off since the drink guy who killed his wife
is getting out of prison. As he is investigating the death if the couple another
couple is killed and he is thinking they are related then another and he has a serial
killer. Meanwhile Sarah is hunting a serial killer who is killing john Ohara which
one is the presidents brother in law. A she is investigating she finds out that a
john Ohara got a gal serial killer whose brother has escaped from psychiatric
hospital. Oh this was definitely a good and suspenseful one. More action and killers
then you could imagine. Loved it and so fast paced that I was done in one day!
Although I agree with some reviewers who mentioned there was no connection
between the main plots, I was ok with that. I loved the continued surprises and
how the author would write something and I would assume a specific situation,
only to learn later that it was about something or someone completely different. I
enjoyed the humor, the flirtation with the relationship building without having to
include all the sordid details so many authors seem to think are necessary to get
us to read their works. There are some books and series of James Patterson that I
either won't read because they are too graphic or I can't get interested enough to
finish it, but this was not one of them. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
