The Pacific Northwest District Optimist International Annual Report for 2009-2010 recognizes the Governor, Executive Board of Directors, and Lieutenant Governors for their leadership over the past year. 10. Special AchievementsHeld Walk-n-Talk membership drives in eight communities and offered District participation to all Optimist Clubs for membership recruitment

11. Started two new Optimist Clubs in Eagle, Idaho and Middleton, Idaho

12. Four Optimist Clubs earned the Distinguished Club award and 30% of all clubs earned Honor Club recognition

13. Conducted member retention workshops at every District meeting and offered a forum for idea and club project sharing at every District meeting

14. Increased the number of participating members at the quarterly District meetings by 25%

15. Extended the reach of Optimist Club service to 57,000 children in the Pacific Northwest
