8. Annual “Rethink Contest”
“Up-cycle” used materials to make something fun,
useful or artistic. Each school can submit up to 3
winning projects. The deadline for submissions is
Friday, April 11. Thirty students will be invited
to bring their creation to a regional contest at
Riverbank Zoo’s “Party for the Planet” celebration
on Sat., Apr. 26. The regional winner will receive a
$100 cash prize from Sonoco! See your art teacher
or come to the library for more information.

4:00PM, or the morning of the race.
