Tips to Increase Employee Performance and Sales
Companies have to look at two groups of people to stay in business. While their main focus is customer
satisfaction they cannot afford to ignore their employees. Everyone hates doing the same activity day in
and day out; it can have a diverse effect on the profits of the company. To deal with this issue
companies have incentive programs for employees.

The most effective incentive program are those that offer a number of options to choose from. Listed
below are a few tips on how we can really motivate employees at all levels in an organization.
1. The relationship you have with your staff is very important. People who think of work and only
work at all times are eventually going to become disengaged. You have to show your employees
that you care about them by acknowledging their contributions.
2. All work and no play make Jack a dull boy’. Similarly if you make your employees work and do
not give them time off to kick off their shoes and relax it will have an effect on the work they do.
This does not mean that you give everyone a free day off, instead organize a fun day at the park
for the entire staff along with their family. This will give you, the leader, a chance to connect on
a social level with the staff and learn about the likes and dislikes of your company.
3. Show your appreciation. Everyone likes receiving gifts once in a while especially awards and

4. Recognize the efforts of your employees and do it in a timely manner.
5. Motivate your staff and encourage them to do better every time.
Sales can be a very stressful and difficult profession. It is important to provide new stimulus to your
sales force to keep them fresh and excited.
