pounds. A polar bears favorite food is a
seal. A polar bear will lay above the ice
for hours just to wait for its prey to come up.
They can swim more than 100 miles away
from the land. They can measure up to 7.5
to 8.5 feet.
Those are some facts
about polar bears.
3. The polar is just a polar bear but
there is a different kind of bear like
black bears , brown bears , honey
bears ,and panda bears. Those are
relatives of polar bears but they
don’t live in the Artic.
4. The Artic is heating up. As it becomes
warmer, pack ice is melting earlier in the
year. This is making it harder for polar bears
to hunt for seals, polar bears might starve to
death. Polar bears eat up to one seal
every 4 or 5 days.
