2. Lab Expectations Talking is limited in the lab. We are sharing the Media Center with other classes. Respect equipment, other students, teachers and school property Touch only your equipment—The back of any computer, monitor, cord or cable is off limits Print only when instructed to do so. The teacher will pass out printed papers Obtain teacher approval to use the Internet
3. Lab ProceduresEntering the Lab Walk into the lab quietly, single file and have a seat. All computers are alike. Bring only your login card Wait for instructions before turning on and logging into your computer
4. Lab ProceduresWhile in the Lab Work quietly and independently Stay on task Sit in Keyboarding Position Raise your hand if you have a question Ask your neighbor quietly for help if the teacher is busy Help your neighbor using words or showing them on your computer
5. Lab ProceduresLeaving the Lab Log off when instructed to do so—a 3 to 5 minute warning will be announced by the teacher Arrange keyboard, mouse, and headphones in their proper place Stand up, push chair in and wait for teacher to call your row to line up for dismissal
