(12 words) </li></ul><ul><li>On the back of the card write the part of speech and a good definition of the word. </li></ul><ul><li>Also, be sure to include a picture for 5 of the words to help you remember their meaning. Find the images in a magazine or online. Try: Google Images . Be sure to print out the images (small size) and paste them to the back (the definition side) of each index card. ( Please do this neatly .) </li></ul><ul><li>For extra credit: color code the words by part of speech: Put verbs on a red or pink index card, adjectives on blue , nouns on white and adverbs on orange . (I have colored index cards if you need them.) </li></ul>
