2. RUNNING FOR AWARENESS
In my home town, individuals organized a
three mile run for sexual abuse awareness
overseas. Almost everyone in our small town
of Forest, Virginia came out to either run for
the cause or just support members who were
running. There were participants who were
touched by this personally which in my eyes
was one of the most influential aspects of the
run.

3. COMING TOGETHER
The second our dance studio heard about this
run we wanted to get involved as well. In doing
so, we formed a group of around 50 people
ranging from 4 year olds to adults, who all
came together as one. Collectively, we came
up with a flash mob to surprise and lift the
spirits of many who were touched personally
by this cause. We performed this right before
the run started. The shock and happiness on
peoples faces was inspiring for all of us.

4. SEXUAL ABUSE AWARENESS
 Sexual Abuse Awareness Overseas is very important for
people to know about. Understanding this cause and
spreading the word can lower the amount of abuses
substantially. Many young women and children are in threat to
this abuse and there are things we can do to stop it. Just by
all of us coming together for this cause has showed me there
is hope for many. Communities as a whole need to enlighten
individuals and become active and supportive.
