Hi and welcome to the land of bees. This
production is going to be shared by Mischa
and Alex. For now sit back relax and we
hope you enjoy our production.

3. HONEY BEE FACTS
 Honey bees are awesome…
 Honey bees hives have long provide humans with honey and bee
wax.
 Bees inject venom when they STING you.
 When bees change their job they change their brain chemistry.
 Did you know that bees work harder than you making their home.

4. WORKER BEES FACTS
 Worker bees are epic…
 Worker bees make there hives to store their food throughout the
winter when they can not go out and get nectar.
 They can recognise human faces even if your not there owner.
 Did you know what a bees favourite colour is (see the next page
for the answer)

5. BEES FAVOURITE COLOUR
Violet purple and blue

6. ABOUT THE QUEEN BEE
© As the queen ages her pheromone output diminishes. A queen bee
that becomes old, or is diseased or failing, will be replaced by the
workers in a procedure known as "supersedure".
© Did you know that the queen bee is the
Biggest bee in the hive .

9. HOW DO BEES BUILD THERE
HIVE?
1. They first find a queen bee to have in their hive.
2. Then they find a good tree/wood that is dry to make a hive.
3. Last of all they find a meadow of flowers they can fly to, too get
nectar.
