When 'at' is used in time we are talking about a
specific time, with numbers; it is also used with
specific time periods.
For example:
I'm going to school at 8:30.
We will eat dinner at 5.
I like to go jogging at night.
He always reads his daughter a story at bedtime.

We use 'on' with time to talk about specific days and
dates.
For example: I will be there on Wednesday.
My classes begin on July 16th.
I was born on May 21st, 1985
We are having a party on Christmas Eve.

'In' is used with time for general times within a day,
month, year or season; it is also used with long periods of
time.
For example: The war ended in 1865.
In the 1800's life was very different than it is today.
Susie loves Vancouver in autumn.
I just moved here in March.
Jim only drinks coffee in the morning.
