Wireless Sensor Cut Sheet - Presentation Transcript

    1. Intelligent Parking is a revolutionary product created by Intelligent Devices, Inc. that simplifies the way parking works. Intelligent Parking assists your customers by giving them the correct information when trying to find a parking spot. Through the use of parking sensors and display boards the motorist can easily navigate the parking level to an open bay. The wireless parking sensors are a new addition to the Intelligent Parking System. These sensors operate off battery power and can be easily installed. The wireless sensors are optimal for parking facilities that are open surfaces. This includes parking garage roofs and outdoor lots. With the wireless sensors, each bay is monitored allowing the parking facility to maximize capacity. www.intelligentparking.com www.intelligentdevicesinc.com
    2. System Design: A Wireless Sensor is to be installed in each parking bay to determine if the bay is occupied. The Wireless Sensor does this by measuring very small fluctuations in the earth’s magnetic field caused by large iron or steel objects, such as cars. The sensor wakes up every 15 seconds to measure this field. If the measurement has changed to a stable level, a message is transmitted through the Router Box to the Zone Controller. Even if no change is detected, the sensor will transmit the data to the Zone Controller every two minutes, to ensure the controller that it is still operating properly.
