1. Twitter Assignment:
Harold Blanco:
@CI350class
Harold is my professor. In following Harold, I noticed that his twitter isn't for
personal use. He uses is post things about education or funny things. He also post links
that correspond to things that we do in class. I wish that I would have followed him
earlier on so that I could have used those links to help me with my assignments. Although
he does not post personal things, he does make it personal in ways of helping his students
with the links that he provides with either assignments or a laugh.
George Couros
@gcouros
George was a big activist. With following him, I was updated in big issues with
education. He posted links to things going on and reached out to people. He asked
questions and tagged people in them, or if people asked him questions he would give
them the right answer or direct them to where they can get the answer. He used his twitter
to get his word out and not for personal use. George is a "division principal of innovative
teaching and learning."
Alec Couros
@courosa
Unlike his brother, Alec uses his twitter for personal use as well as education use.
He is a professor of education technology. He had personal conversations with people.
He also would tag in at places that he was at. It was only person though; like his brother
her answered questions and posted about things big in education, providing links. He also
used it to talk to his students which I found very cool and would consider doing as well.
He even followed me back, so that was cool.
Steven Anderson
@web20classroom
Steven is also a teacher. He used his teacher for promoting things in the
educational world. He had personal conversations though too and allowed personal
information. He posted inspirational quotes almost every day which I liked. It made him
seem more personable. Although he did have some personal use on it, his page is mainly
to promote things in education or ask/answer questions revolving around teaching or
learning.
Chris Wejr
@ChrisWejr
2. Chris is a teacher and principal. I very much enjoyed most of his posts. He was
very personable. His cover picture was a picture of his children and his profile picture
was of him and his wife which I liked. He promotes a lot of educational news and
asks/answers questions like the rest. There was one thing that I did not enjoy about his
page. There was a few days where he argued with this person over twitter and I found it
unprofessional. The tweet I attached a snap shot of resembles some of that argument.
