This document outlines how to create a SharePoint 2013 development virtual machine using scripts for a simplified installation process. It provides an agenda that includes reviewing the high level steps, hardware recommendations, required software, and scripts. The key scripts referenced automate configuring Active Directory, SQL Server, installing prerequisites and SharePoint, provisioning services, and applying updates in a single click. Attendees will watch a demo of running the script package to build a new SharePoint 2013 virtual machine.
