A Poison Dart Frog can be many different colours like blue with black spots, orange with blue limbs, orange with black patches and sometimes even purple which is very rare.
All Poison Dart Frogs are found in the South American rainforests. Poison Dart Frogs live in the South American rainforest because of the great weather which keeps them warm.
Poison Dart Frogs move by a quadripedal jump or hop. They can jump rather fast so they would be very hard to catch.
A poison Dart frog eats many foods like fruit flies, newborn crickets and lots of newborn plankton.
A female Poison Dart Frog lays it eggs under a greatly big leaf and the male Poison Dart Frog fertilizes all of the eggs until they hatch into tadpoles.
A fact to know about a poison dart frog is that if they feel threatened by anyone or anything they let out and spread a toxin on their skin which would kill you. A poison Dart frog is also very hard to find because it is endangered. The scientific name of a Poison Dart Frog is dendrobatidae.
