Ainis” is an important General
Secondary School with about
1000 pupils. Most of them
are girls.
• The school is named after
Emilio Ainis, a local hero, an
officer who was killed in the
Battle of Adwa, during the
first Italo-Ethiopian war.
• Our school , with its
courses of Human Sciences
and Languages (English,
Spanish,French), provides
students with the cultural
basis and the skills to
continue their studies in the
field of teaching or in the
social one.
• Our students range from 14
to 19 years of age.

The school building is set in
Messina, a town of 250.000
inhabitants, located at the
North-East corner of Sicily, on
the Straits that bears its
name.
