PREVENTIVE Maintanance

method is to provide a pound of prevention to forgo a mountain of cures. Preventive maintenance is an
ongoing assessment and adjustment of the client’s application foundation to insure optimal performance.
Preventive maintenance of the client's application involves proper assessment of the client's application
hardware, network and supporting application requirements. The service also involves suggesting and
completing the necessary preparations to insure that the client's application will run at the optimal level of
efficiency. This assessment is documented and modifications to the client’s application core are carefully
completed to insure that there are no interruptions in the application's ability to operate in its intended
fashion.
PROACTIVE Monitoring
The most inconvenient time to find out that an application is having a problem is
when it fails to serve its purpose. GeniusCo maintains proactive monitoring and support from
GeniusCo’s Global Application Monitoring and Network Operations Centers (NOC). GeniusCo monitors the
stability of our client's applications, network and hardware. Upon identifying any failure, the client is
notified and the problem is resolved. In many cases you will not have known there was a failure.
REACTIVE Support
As with all human made products, software has a margin of error. However small or large
that margin may be, errorss are inevitable. On some occasions an error in the client’s application will be
uncovered by a user or employee. In the case of an error that is not recognized by GeniusCo’s Proactive
Monitoring, the user can notify their dedicated, on-site GeniusCo Portfolio Manager by phone, email or
through their dedicated customer IT services portal.
Once detected errors are diagnosed by GeniusCo’s quality assurance professionals and directed to the
proper personnel to resolve the problem quickly. Each error is properly documented and reviewed for
preventive maintenance to stop the error from occurring in the future . Measures are put in place to
proactively monitor these types of occurrences to be addressed at the first sign of the error’s
re-occurrence.
