Whr R U go’g? & put a vdeocmra in his hand.P decdd 2 answthse ?s by do’g a film abt his mo.Her courage, hr humor, hr resilience.He assmbld a team 2 prdc a doc’ry that 1st screened @ RAW in frnt V 200 ppl.Thru th film he not only learnd abt hmslf, but he dscvrd his VOICE. A strong voice 4 a young man who U could have easily missd.Over th next 4 yrs, P movd thru all th levels V R film school, inclbcm’g an instrctr in thprgmUltimately he used R college access Pr Launch & his OWN persistence 2 land a full schlrshp 2 th RISDHe’s made us incredibly proud by gett’g not onlyth 1st A V his life – but by gett’gstght As – which paved th way for him 2 study abrd.   8. B4 talking abt where we R going, I want to take a moment to review where we’ve been financially, & what th next few yrs look like. Let’s 1st start by look’g @ our current sources V fund’g. There are 6 V them: Our primary source is frFdns which acts for over half of th revenue Our 2nd most impt source is Ind donors, an area tht’s been grow’g steadily & whch we cont to focusonOther sources include: Sp Events FFS (basically contracts w/places like LPS)Gvt funding Corp

What you’re look’g at now is our rev & expense for th past 4 yrs, current & th next 2 yrs—expense in red, rev blue17 yrs before this graph starts, RAW was foundd w/a $79K contract frth Dept V YS…over th years, we exprincd steady growth, land’g @ at a bud V abt $700-800 /yr.  In 2008, leveraging the momentum of our capital campaign, we were able to retire R mortgage, incr R services, & close th yr w/a bud srplsWe’veadjustd projections downwrd in light V ecnmcsttn—prepar’g 4 lower revs this yr. W/rev initiatives we have in place, we believe we can grow agn in fiscal 2011
