Your Gain:
The G-MAS corrects mechanism axis positions based on preset data that is accessed
using user-defined correction table. Such corrections are possible for both single and
multi-axis high level application solutions.
Used in:
2D error correction provides a correction point (x, y) on the basis of a standard two-
dimensional grid, defined as a function of any two axes positions.
The correction point handles thee error for a specific axis.
3D error correction is similar to 2D error correction, but enables use of multiple,
layered two-dimensional grids. As with 2D mode, the third axis correction point may
be defined for any of the axes.
G-MAS error correction supports up to 6 two-dimensional tables and up to 100,000
tabulated correction positions. Correction points are pre-defined by a user during
general setup.

Design Features:
Simple implementation using correction tables, stored in G-MAS flash memory for
quick loading/saving
Easy to implement by error correction tool
Supports up to 6 two-dimensional tables and up to 100,000 tabulated correction
positions
Uses linear interpolation between each two subsequent correction positions
Supports decimal or binary grid gap
Each axis can be corrected as a function of its own position and an additional axis
position, or as a function of two additional positions
