Using their own designed workflow & tools, is publising in rather uninteresting way, pdf, once a year. Huge task which takes them months, and therefore is always too late, behind. 2011 numbers/lists have not yet been published.
• Mepa's, metis
Press office: setting up umcg wide system for data regarding research, to be used by all, staff onfo research details, lines, news, awards etc
Creating publication lists on intranet pages but also internet departments
Cowboys
• Open Acces Poster Portal & Conference facility
Another project to promote UMCG research is the Open Access UMCG Poster Portal.

This new project is starting up with promoting the deposit of scientific posters and oral presentations into the F1000 Poster Portal. It facilitates for instance conferences in hosting and archiving the posters of their delegates. See the presentation link for more.
Ultimate goal: collect all UMCG posters and slides structurally in one Open Access UMCG Portal, and eventually visualize who has been where doing what
Research Coordinators?
By talking to research coordinators inside the hospital we become more aware of processes that are taking place around the overall research tasks. They have specific needs in support in efficient, flexible but safe file- and data management.
• Main focus, big focus, the biology of ageing, prevention & o
Intervention
Getting older in a healthy way
Big research institute ERIBA, with several research lines, including one of the largest cohort studies done worldwide LifeLines
• Aggregator, without telling how!
Simpel, easy and cheap, using existing resources.
We do not have a huge team or large budgets available for technical installations or development. The University of Groningen library is doing a lot and we work together on a good level, but this is something we started alone.
Uni & hospital cms not suitable
How does that look? First impressions?
