3. What are learning objects?
Learning objects combine still and moving images, text, audio and
animation to provide interactive multimedia experiences for
students. They are learning games and simulations.

Digitised items are resources that have been sourced from
leading Australian and New Zealand cultural and scientific
institutions and private collections.

This is an example of rare materials (the albino kiwi feathers) being
used to make cloaks - the more decorative and rare the cloak
materials, the more likely that it was created for a person of high rank
such as a chief.
