1. Biography
Born on 2nd May 1988 in Sandomierz, Poland. Until I was 8 I lived in Tarnobrzeg. Than,
because of specific opportunities given to my family I lived over 3 years in Poznan and every single
weekend I spent in different part of Poland and longer holidays I spent in Szklarska Poreba, after
this period I came back to Tarnobrzeg. This situation has developed in me specific kind of identity –
in which I never felt specially connected to one specific geographical place.
In 2005 my Father has moved to Ireland, what gave me an opportunity to visit this country
many times. Because of these travels, people met and society observed, I became strongly interested
in this specific way of meeting different cultures.
In primary schools I attended to, I was very lucky meeting very good teachers and educators.
They noticed in my extraordinary potential in analytical area what resulted in wining several
Mathematical Olympics and competitions on state level.
In the term of middle school my math teacher wasn't able to lead me in this area with my
specific needs. This is why I had time to develop my interests in different areas, what resulted in
achieving several successes in biological, geographical and chemical competitions on provincial
level.
The awareness of the fact that I need some professional help with leading my career made
me to go for psychological tests, which strongly, and somehow negatively, influenced my future
choices. They advised me to choose informatics high school, what was based on my good results in
mathematical tests, and, how I discovered few years latter, on specific connection between my skills
and knowledge, not on real predispositions to programing.
Since my choice was not compatible with the real abilities and chosen school was the best in
the region, I lost my interest in high-standard-learning. However my grades were still good, in this
period of my life I got opportunity to develop my artistic and performance skills. I was a member of
“Representative Dancing Group” and together with friends we created a comic group. My biggest
achievement with the Dancing Group was a performance in front of Polish Government Members.
With the comic group we reached 2 nd position out of 32 groups at “City review of talent” event in
front of audition of 2000.
This experience and people met made me to organize concerts and art evenings around the
city. All of them gave a chance to present their skills to over a dozen of bands, few singers and few
writers and painters. Some of them even started to call me facetiously “Our Manager”. In fact some
of those events brought me profit.
At my university, where I study very wide field of study, all under one name of Political
Science my biggest achievements were 3 scientific theories on the field of management. My overall
grades rate was second best on the year. During two last years of studies I was a member of The
University Students Council, a body of 15 people elected by university students. There I was
responsible mainly for managing students club and organizing events.
During my studies I became a member of AIESEC. My biggest in-LC achievement was
leading totally new project, in which even without being given know-how and big help from more
experienced AIESECers, project has ended successfully and made strong impact on few fields.
After I finished main path of study I decided to spend at least one year on AIESEC
exchanges. I believe that it was the smartest decision I have ever made. Even in my life full of
achievements I have never felt so proud and happy as after those few “thank you” said by people I
helped to. There is nothing in my life what motivates me more than the desire to hear this again.
