    • Laser Land Leveling : Hub districts
    • Advancing planting of wheat (Av 20 Nov): ZT, residue retention (20 – 30 cm anchored), medium duration of wheat cultivars, and layered better-bet agronomic messages (e.g. quality seed, balanced fertilizers, water and weed management).
    • Generating awareness of the performance benefits of new wheat HYVs .
    • Increase cropping intensity (relay mung, cowpea or mung as third crop in R-W system)
  • Dissemination continued….
    • Exploiting bottomland fallows with surface seeding technologies
    • Utilizing Boro rice in Bara/Parsa to cultivate poorly-drained winter fallows (collaboration with RARS, NARC)
    • Maize hybrid screening demonstration cum trial; line sowing w/ ZT multi-crop seeder
  • Applied research
    • Optimum wheat seed rate with different crop establishment practices (i.e. broadcast, CT-line, ZT-line) + optimum rate for ZT with different planting dates.
    • Increasing AE N in ZT wheat with different application methods (timing and irrigation interactions for basal application)
    • Evaluating the performance of site-specific tools for nutrient management (GS, Nutrient Expert)
    • Dual purpose wheat + berseem exploratory trial
    • ZT, bed planting, residue retention, and irrigation management for lentil intensification
  • Training and Promotional Activities
    • Training events will be organized in various areas: weed management, nutrient & irrigation, use and maintenance of new machineries
    • Promotional activities like FFD, TS, FGD will be continued.
    • Participation in the fairs, exhibitions and production of leaflets will be continued.
