Socially responsible, ethical, and legal use of
technology, information, and software
resources

It is important for English Language Learners to know
what plagiarism is and how to avoid it. The students may
not know how serious plagiarism is because it may not be
as strict in their former countries. Also, because these
students are learning a new language they may be more
willing to copying someone else’s work.

com/writing/plagiarism.htm
Copyright laws and guidelines in the
use and access of technologies
Teachers can give their students certain websites
to use to find their information or images that are
copyright free or that follow copyright laws.
There are also websites for curriculum for
teachers that abide by guidelines and laws (http:
//theedublogger.com).
