1930: Weimar government falls, as hard times hit Germany under Hindenburg's
leadership. Nazi's grew stronger.
1931: German banking suffers, from the banking disaster, suffering from little cash. Mistrust of banks
rise. Bank of England saves German banking.
1931: Hitler meets Hindenburg. To prevent social democrats from forming a government, Hindenburg
considers adding the Nazi party to an anti-left, anti-Marxist coalition.
1932: Hitler obtains German citizenship, giving him the opportunity to run against Hindenburg. Has a
better chance because of the hard times.
1932: Chancellor Bruning resigns. Hindenburg chooses Papen, who has little support. So eventually
names Adolf chancellor. This is the start of Hitler's pan to gain leadership.
1933: Enabling Act gives Adolf dictatorial power. Here is when Hitler destroys everything he wants,
has control of military and laws.
1933: Nazi Party declared only political party. This is where Hitler was able to become leader of G
ermany, started eliminating the Jewish people.
1934: In the year 1934 2.5 million men were in the SA army compared to the 100,000 men in the
regular military. More people were supporting the SA (nationalistic party) because during the
depression they needed something to believe in.
August 2nd 1934: President Hindenburg died, so Hitler named himself Fuhrer of Germany.

2. 1935: Nuremburg Laws were instituted. These laws stripped the Jewish people of their rights, because
Hitler instated these laws people were willing to follow them.
1935: 60% of the youth in Germany were in some way apart of or supporting Hitler and his rulings.
Even the youth of the country were wanting to support and fight for it.

1936: Berlin hosted the Olympics so Hitler was able to portray his views to other countries.
People questioned whether the Nazi 's could accept the Olympic charter of participation
1937: People supported the government enough to hold the Olympics, they supported their teams and
who would be able to play on them, even the Jewish people etc.

3. 1937: Hitler shows off his army and country to Mussolini, and then they become allied countries.
1937: Hitler lays out a broad plan for taking over more countries for space.
The country was coming together more and aligning itself with other countries so they would be
