The Rundlett Middle School Library monthly report for February 2012 highlights: 1) Four clusters collaborated on an Ancient Egypt research project in the library. The library also hosted the annual spelling bee. 2) Statistics show increases in classes served in the library and labs as well as walk-in visitors compared to the previous year. 3) Several classes used the library for research projects on topics like New Hampshire animals and cryptids with support from the librarian.

Program Highlights
*Four clusters collaborated on a research
project for Ancient Egypt. The classes shared
the library space and the resources.
*The annual spelling bee was held in the
library. Congratulations to our winner, Kelly
Varnell and our runner-up, Hannah Miller.
*Ms Keane worked with Mr. Tuttle’s classes
on using Excel to chart their weather buoy
data.
*Mr. Magarian’s cluster researched New
Hampshire animals.
*Visitors to the library were treated to displays
by Cluster 7-1 and 6-2.
*Ms Keane extensively weeded the fiction
section.
