The company originated from the Biosim Networking Group, a leading Finnish-based
consulting group, with a track record of working together on Environmental Issues
within the Scandinavian forest Industry for over 30 years.

Our supervisory control systems are in use in the Pulp & Paper Industry since the beginning

BIOPERT® is our most well-known product, which monitors and control a plants operation
and provides expert advise to personell & management assistance in the operation
of effluent treatment- and sludge handling processes.
The system facilitates an effective utilisation of daily performance data, i.e.,
online measurements and laboratory results obtained from a treatment plant.

3. BIOTRAINER
BIOTRAINER® is an interactive learning tool, which includes the basics of waste water treatment
that operators need to know, in order to fully understand what is going on at their plant.
It also links to the BIOPERT and BIOSIM, and thus the user can validate
their understanding of different operational scenarios.
All these programs are available for community and industry effluents.

4. BIOSIM
BIOSIM® is a simulation environment and a calculation program.
Within it operators, engineers or management
of wastewater treatment plants may simulate different operating scenarios
and thus get assistance in the operation treatment and sludge handling processes.
The system facilitates an effective calculation program, using measured or expected loadings
and operating conditions, for the estimation of the future plant
performance and key indicators.
