  1. I’m Jenny Arnold Being from hospitality – I spend a lot of my time At events Creating SEO strategies and just for the record, I like horses as you can see from this picture So I come from POSH – Professional Online Solutions for Hospitality – so food features quite highly on our radar.
  2. Food has a lot of ingredients – A lot of which we are unaware of… When was the last time you sat down to eat a meal and thought about every aspect of what went into the realisation of that dish

  4. The dish is the end product, which is a bit like the results of a successful SEO campaign To make the perfect dish you need to invest time, ingredients and skill. The reality is anyone can cook a meal, but it takes ‘Michelin’ to deliver a masterpiece # just like a talented SEO marketer
  5. So SEO – Our favourite dish for sustained revenue driving Who knows what new dishes Google has been serving on its menu so far this year? Engage with audience idea – pass out pens
  6. So if I was to say it’s time to E-A-T what would you think Would you associate this with a Google update? Because that is exactly what Google is serving online to drive or hinder your efforts If I had of been standing here doing this talk to you 1 to 3 years ago, I would have said PR was not anywhere near our Digital Radar Even OPR had little effect on our Revenue driving efforts online E-A-T, however, has turned this all around  So, as powerful SEOers today, how exactly should we go successful PR to drive your SEO and prevent you falling down the rankings   What each E-A-T element means and why is PR back on the menu?   PR is staying alive!  PR is back    On Page is still important    We want others to talk about you and you to be credible
  7. So what is it? E-A-T Expertise – is not only about technical SEO but about having your strength in authoritative and quality writers to Googles SEO content standards – in essence this is your standard SEO Panda and Penguin as you know it. Authority – Being the best at what you do. Google says you cannot demand this – only the market can. What this means is PR events, blogger outreach, social campaigns and Press Release hooks and strong blogs / news worthy stories to get others doing the talking and linking for you. Trustworthiness – Is all about your content, your contact ability and again how many high quality externals link to you and trust / recommend you. A bogus website can serve out the information but doesn’t admit to being legitimate.
  8. We all understand what PR is, press releases, events and brand exposure – traditionally through journalists, mass media outlets and busy press offices. SEO PR, however, is more about the bloggers. It used to confuse me ‘what exactly is a blogger’? A blogger is someone who regularly shares their personal opinions, experiences and critiques on their on their own personal blog page (or a website). Those bloggers with a good hit rate, access to your particular niche markets will write about your product if you give them the opportunities and tools to deliver.
