RBSFI’s Technical Assistance Program in India focused on building robust and creditworthy microfinance institutions in the underserved regions of the country. Working in partnership with MicroSave, an International Microfinance consultancy RBS provided 12-18 month of support to nascent MFIs. 7. A- An Eco-tourism Project in Sunderbans, West Bengal. B- Carbon Trading initiatives – it is working to indulge villagers in Maleghat region of Maharashtra in carbon trading initiatives like tree plantation and afforestation. Along with that, helping local villagers in Maharashtra’s Melghat region develop a 2,500 hectare area for forestation for the purpose of carbon sequestration and trading.
