This project is to provide a basis of "best practices" for data center management and infrastructure.

1. Project Name: Data Center Improvement Project
Description: The purpose of this project is to provide a basis of "best practices" for data center management and
infrastructure. Local business reasons, local governmental code or other circumstances may mitigate the
implementation of these best practices. This implementation of these best practices may require long term
processes to be implemented, capital or expense funding and that the corrective actions will be ongoing.
Problem/Opportunity Statement: This project will define a common desired state for all managed data centers
along with actionable plans to reach the desired state, including common process for:
 Facilities Safety and Security
 Change Management Processes
 Data Center Management
 Infrastructure (including air conditioning, power, etc.)
Business Case: To improve the safety and reliability of IT Data Centers to align with corporate process. Currently
each data center (Dhaka, Sylhet and MoulaviBazar) is managed with separate processes and varying degrees of
operational excellence.
