Lozovatka is a village in Dnipropetrovsk region, Ukraine founded in 1765 on the picturesque shores of the Ingulets River. The village started with settlers from Chernihiv province building huts from local materials, giving the village its name which means "place of willows". The village has three bridges spanning the 150m wide Ingulets River, including an old suspension bridge. Key landmarks include the Church of St. Nicholas from 1787 and an older church from the 18th century with historical paintings and bricks. Lozovatka has a proud history defending against invaders in wars and maintains monuments to commemorate this.
