  26. 26. THE POLESDEN LACEY VOLUNTEERS WILL BE VISITING THE ROYAL SCHOOL OF NEEDLEWORK AT HAMPTON COURT
  27. 27. A group of 17 Limpsfield DFAS volunteers worked for 220 hours and successfully completed the cleaning of the beautiful reredos at Tandridge Parish Church in November. There is more work to be done, which has to wait until the Church has funds available.

THE ROYAL SOCIETY OF BRITISH ARTISTS EXHIBITION This painting, part of a triptych by Stephen Rawlings, a pupil at The Howard of Effingham School, was seen at a Mole Valley NADFAS Young Arts Exhibition at Denbies and subsequently chosen to be hung at the Mall Galleries in London in May 2008. Stephen is completing a foundation course at The Chelsea School of Art.

Titian, 'Diana and Actaeon', 1556-9, bought jointly by the National Gallery and National Galleries of Scotland with contributions from The Scottish Government, the National Heritage Memorial Fund, The Monument Trust, The Art Fund and through public appeal, 2008.
