  • I see that these bullying cases have been growing rampantly in schools of different states today. As parents, we need to keep an eye on our kids' situation in school so as to avoid bullies to just get on them. As a parent, I am so concerned that my 9-year old son might be a prey of this bullies who just can't simply stop. Yet luckily, I read an article about like an on-star for phone that has been working perfectly for me and my son. With just a click of a button, he gets conferenced with an emergency response agent, a list of people in his so called-safety network, and can even get escalated to the nearest 911 if he is in a critical emergency. • What are the PROS and CONS of the solutions below? Bullies should be put in special children’s prisons. Teachers who cannot control their classrooms should be fired. Well-behaved children can suggest punishments for badly behaved children. Parents must pay a fine for all incidents of their child’s bullying. Parents of bullies should be named and shamed in local newspapers. Teachers should receive better training to understand bullies and stop them. Parents of bullied children can sue the bully’s parents. Children who often misbehave should be told to leave the school forever. All classrooms should have web cameras so parents can monitor their children. SOLUTIONS

  • Gunman may have taken revenge for bullying The gunman behind the Virginia Tech massacre killed two pupils who had attended his high school - where he was bullied, mocked over his shyness and told to "go back to China". Cho Seung-Hui was taunted over his race during his time at Westfield High School. The experience may have contributed to the mental instability, anger and persecution complex revealed in the killer's chilling videos, posted to an American broadcaster while Cho was in the midst of the worst campus shooting in US history.
