3rd NE’s BEST CBAA HONORS’ CIRCLE – CLSU 2011-2012
QUALIFICATIONS
The search is open to all public and private elementary students in Nueva Ecija who are included
in the top ten (10) of the graduating class in their respective schools. There should only be a
maximum of five (5) participants/entries per school.
REQUIREMENTS
Two (2) copies of duly accomplished documents containing:
1. Application form (see NE’s BEST form 1)
2. Academic information (see NE’s BEST form 2)
3. Awards received (see NE’s BEST form 3)- with proofs (certificate, pictures etc)
4. Scholarly answered essay in the question “Why do you deserve to be one of the Nueva Ecija’s
Bibong Estudyante ng Taon?” (see form 4)
5. Copy of a Transcript of Records from grade 1 up to 1st grading of 6th grade.
Two (2) 2x2 picture
One (1) back-to-back copies of school ID
Note: NE’s BEST forms serve as a guide only for the participants’ proper documentation. Use extra
sheets upon answering the form. The requirements should be placed in a long clearbook and sealed in a
long brown envelope.

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING/ PROCESS OF SCREENING
First Screening:
The participants will be screened based on the documents passed. Lack of requirements would mean
deductions of points.
Participants will be judged based on the following:
Academic performance 40
Achievements 25
Affiliations 25
Document Presentation* 10
Total 100%
*document presentation would be scored based on the manner of presentation with complete supporting
documents e.g. certificates, pictures, etc.
Note: Top 20 will be selected to advance to the second screening.
Second Screening:
The top 20 qualifiers will be given particular points in their participation and performance in the team
building, workshop and talent showcase. Points will be given by advisers of the organization and event
facilitators.
Final Screening:
Top 20 will be judged based on the following:
Academic performance* 20
Achievements* 10
Affiliations* 10
Team building participation** 10
Workshop performance ** 10
Talent** 15
Written Examination*** 15
Panel interview**** 10
Total 100%
*Academic performance, achievements and affiliations will be evaluated and scored based on their documents
presented.
** Talent, workshop, and teambuilding performances would be based on scores gained on the 2nd screening.
*** Written examination comprises of Math, English, Science, History and General Information
**** Participants would undergo a Panel interview to evaluate their ability to perform under pressure
Note: From the 20 finalists the Nueva Ecija’s Bibong Estudyante ng Taon will be selected.
