2. We handed out ten closed questionnaires and ten open questionnaires to
a range of media students picked at random. We then played our horror
trailer to the group three times, this was so they had enough time to
answer the questionnaires as well as to look at certain areas, which they
think were good or bad about the trailer. This was to help us decide
whether the trailer had faults and needed improvements made.

12. β’ I have learnt that our trailer fitted the criteria we set out to
achieve, as itβs genre was easily noticeable and all comments
were positive.
β’ The soundtrack we had chosen was successful, as it
represented danger and fear to the audience.
β’ I have found my target audience for my trailer, as my
audience responses have told me what is suitable for a horror
trailer.
β’ These results have also told me the changes that might be
need to be made to make my trailer more successful and more
effective towards the audience.
β’ My results have helped me understand what makes a good
trailer and what makes a bad trailer as well as what parts were
most important to appeal to a wider audience.
