2. The Weather
Checking the weather is essential to ensure that the correct lighting is
used. Meaning that choosing the relevent fay to film is essential. We
chose Wednesday as it is bright and sunny.
3. Risk Assessment
As stated earlier in the Blog, I have created a risk assessment to ensure
that we prevent all injuries. Planning and preventing the risks helps enable
a successful film shoot.
5. ⢠Aim to get relevant substitutes,
such as the same colour/style, to
ensure that the character doesnât
change.
⢠Wear the clothing the actor arrive
on set. We will have to focus on the
camera work and editing.
Costume Failure
If we are unable to retrieve the ideal costumes, what do we do?
6. Prop failure
If we are unable to obtain the identical props to the music video.
What do we do?
⢠Aim to get relevant substitutes, such as similar props.
⢠Change the prop to something which is a similar size.
⢠If we are unable to obtain a prop, we could substitute
another prop or even another action.
⢠We would have to focus on the camera work and editing.
7. People are Absent
If an actor is absent. What do we do?
â˘Inform all people needed on set the time and help them gain
there transport. E.g. Bus times.
â˘If people are unable to attend, any stationary actors (not in set)
would have to act their role aswell.
â˘If they are unable to act, we will not include the character.
However, if the character is important to the video, us (the
camera men, and directors) would have to act in replacement.
â˘If there are not enough people, we shall have to organise
another day to film.
8. Overall
Planning all the possibilities of what can happen on the day, enables a
more successful shoot. This is proven by the inspiration videos, they
show the minute detail they have gone to in order for the film to
replicate the original music video.
