• Facilitating & leading a food services department while adhering to professional
standards
• Quality management programs
• Nutritional & healthy living principles
• Marketing & promotional initiatives
• Supporting organizational effectiveness, including financial analysis & control
• Supporting design of a food & nutrition human resources plan
• Collaborating in an organization’s business plan or client care plan
• Applying research competencies to the assessment, analysis & problem-solving
within a food services department

– In-lab Modified Foods Course
– Food & Nutrition Analysis Software Component
• Up to 10 weeks of job exposure & experience
– Clinical: Working with a food and nutrition manager and a dietician for
patient food needs

Planning, Human Resource Management for a Food Service Operation, etc.
