 with Mariner 4
Mariner 4 reached the red planet on July 15 1964
3 more mariner spacecraft mariner 6,7, and 9
successfully orbited mars by the end of 1971
Previous attempts by both the USSR and United

mars one, was announced aiming to
establish settlement on mars in 2023
Red dragon is proposed concept for a low
lost mars lander mission that would utilize
 a space x falcon
Mars vehicle
A rover was launched to mars from Florida Cape
Canaveral air force station it is in orbit now
It was launched on November 26, 2011
The rover arrived on Mars on August 6, 2012
In 1971 the soviet space program scored a major
success by putting the first spacecraft into
Martian orbit and even touching a lander vehicle
 down on its surface
Interesting Facts

In 1877, an Italian astronomer, Giovanni
Schiaparelli, announced that he had seen long,
