HISTORY
• The space age began 51 years ago when Russian
  cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin become the first human to
  journey into space.
• Since 1993, the U.S. and Russia have worked together on
  a number of other kinds of space suits.
• The Russian space suit was designed in the early 1970’s
  to protect cosmonauts during launch and landing or
  unexpected emergencies.
• The first space walk of the Russian space suit was on
  December 20, 1977.
MISSION:
• Soyuz TM -14 (1992)
• Soyuz TM -15 (1992)
• Soyuz TM -16 (1993)
• Soyuz TM -17 (1994)
• Soyuz TM -18 (1994)
STRUCTURE:
• Spacesuits supply astronauts with oxygen
  to breath while their in the middle of space.
• It also contains water and makes sure the
  person inside isn't injured.
• The space suit protects astronauts from the
  extreme temperatures.
• The SOKOL suit has an attached
  pressurized hood.

INTERESTING/IMPORTANT
FACTS
• A fully equipped space suit is really a one person spacecraft.
• Nasa astronomers where other kinds of space suits . Some
  wear orange suits which can only be worn inside the spacecraft.
• Another Russian suit is the Sokol. Like nasa’s orange suit, the
  Sokol can only be worn inside a space craft.
• Each suit is custom made to a particular consonant.
