This is a summary of the Market Research conducted by me for Hi-End Marriage Halls and Lawns in Nagpur city for one MR Organization.

1. Summary
Survey for Marriage Halls in Nagpur
Nagpur is an excellent hub of high end marriages and there are around 18 high
end locations to conduct such marriages. Total number of category A halls where
upmarket weddings happen are “7” and open air lawns are “11”. These halls and
lawns are located mainly in the heart of the city and some lawns in the outskirts
of city to have a serene location. The facilities provided by these halls and lawns
ranges from catering, decoration to the complete marriage planning and
providing all the things required in rituals, and also orchestra teams and actors on
call. Some of these have outsourced catering and decoration to external agencies.
Outside catering and decoration are allowed only in some of the lawns and in case
of banquet halls outside catering is strictly not allowed and outside decorator is
allowed only by paying the plug in charges to the hotel. Some other facilities
provided by the banquet hotels are valet parking, luxury suits, clothes ironing,
doctor facility, audio-visual facilities, DJ, special bar tender (if cocktail), beauty
parlor, spa facility. Generally DJ facility inside the banquet hotel is allowed till 12
am but in lawns situated in city it is only until 10 pm. The charge structure is
either in package ranging from Rs 300 to Rs 1200 per person (includes hall/lawn +
catering + changing rooms) depending upon the type of menu Veg or Non Veg or
Mix. Also there are many agencies arranging theme weddings in Nagpur, they
even provide complete marriage plans according to rituals.

2. These agencies recommend the idle location for marriage according to customer
requirements and preferences. For example
 Rajwada palace is preferable if pure vegetarian catering is preferred.
 Choker dhani, suraburdi meadows, krazy castle if in the outskirts of Nagpur.
 Hotel pride, sun n sand, Rajwada palace and center point hotel if A category
banquet hall is the requirement.
