3. 1.- WHAT IS THE BASKETBALL
According to the RAE: "Game between two teams
of five players each, which is to introduce the ball
in the basket or basket contrary, located at a
certain height " . Another definition : " Basketball
is a sport in which two competing teams of five

in 1891 from the hand of James Naismith , Massachusetts , USA .
4. At first the teams were composed of 9 players , then went at 7 and
finally to 5 players . The board came as protection to prevent
followers situated in the stands . It was introduced in Spain in 1921.
Spanish Basketball Federation was created in 1923 .

6. RULES
Two teams of five players each face.
The ball may be passed, thrown, tapped, rolled or thrown in any direction.
The games are divided into four quarters.
Win the game the team with the most points at the end make the fourth
quarter.
There are different scores:
Foot = 1 point.
Draft in the triple line = 2 points.
Triple = 3 points.
The objective of each team is to introduce the ball in the basket of the
opponent and prevent the adversary layup in our basket.

9. PASSES

11. SHOOTING
