A DAY IN NEW YORK
Hi! My name is Beatriz. If I got up in New York, first I would be afraid
because it would be very strange. I would ring my family and then I would
see the good side of it and I would visit the city if I found a Spaniard,
because I love travelling but not alone. We would visit the Statue of
Liberty, the skyscrapers, etc, if we could. I would have hamburger and
chips for lunch because it is the typical food there. If the New York
Knicks played in the Madison Square Garden, I would go to see them,
because I love basketball. In the evening I would go shopping and if I
liked something I would buy it. At night, I would go to bed in the house I
got up, and if I woke up in my bed I would think was it all a dream?

A fun and lively city ruled by students.
If students governed the city all would be very different. If we could we would change the
rules and schedule of the institute, also if we could we would have a break or strike every
week and the holidays would be much longer. If we could change parties we would not go to
school because there would always be a party. If students governed the city there wouldn’t
be restrictions and we also would come out of the crisis. We would help each other if we had
to. We would have parties for seniors. In addition, we would have fun activities for children
and adults if they wanted them; they would be free. If students governed city all would be
much happier and fun.

WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF….. YOU WOKE UP IN A
DIFFERENT COUNTRY?
If I woke up in another place different from where I live
I and I would worry because in this place I would not
know anybody, I would not know where to go, I would
not know where I was, I would feel sad for being
without my family and I would look for help to return to
my place of origin that would be my house.
The first thing that I would do would be to see where I
was and to look for means to return to my house and
later, when I had means, I would return to my house.

If I woke up turned into a bird ... I would die of fright!
If when it rises tomorrow I turned into an animal I would turn into a bird.
Because my dream is to fly and being a bird I could do it. I would have
that feeling, seeing everything from above. I would feel more free. I
could go wherever I wanted, as long as I wanted. I would make friends
and more birds would fly together,with me, we would play... but
sometimes we would run the risk of being hunted.
On second thought I would not like to get up turned into an animal that
would make me leave my life. No one would recognize me.
In conclusion, if I still woke up being an animal, I would die of fright so it
is better not to think or imagine this because it can never happen and I
do not like animals.

What would you do if you woke up in another
country?
If I woke up in another country different to mine, I would be
afraid. The first thing that I would try to know would be how I had
come to that country which was not mine. The second thing would
be to find out what country was and what language they spoke
because I only speak Spanish and a bit of English, but fortunately
now most countries talk a little English.
Another problem would be how to get back, because if I don't get
money or documentation I could not leave that country and to tell
it to any authority as the police, they would say that I am mad,
because that is not very believable, but why was I there?

WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF YOU WOKE UP BEING A
BEETLE?
If one day when I was getting up I turned out a beetle I would
become mad and my parents would have to send me to a place
where they could treat me. I would not be able to walk with
giant people around me. I would not know what to eat I would
not be able to live without my brothers or my parents, my
grandparents or my uncles, my cousins or my nephews. I hope
that it will never happen since I will die if it will.

What would happen if...
