Editor's Notes

  1. ITS defined: The application of technology and computer networks to current freeway, traffic, and transit systems to increase the safety and efficiency of the surface transportation system. ITS uses the Traveler information website mstraffic hosted by MDOT to aggregate information for the public. Build commute routes, view real time streaming traffic camera views, view current incident reports, read current messages on dynamic message boards, etc.
