Pictures but the name was dropped in 2000 after Universal
Pictures bought PolyGram. In 2004, the name was revived as

For our Film Noir, our group has decided to use
Focus Features as our institution.
We have chosen this because of the type of
films that they have already distributed, (For
example Brick) are in the same genre as our Film
Noir, and are very successful in the film world.
