DreamWorks Animation was spun off in 2004. 20th Century Fox was founded in 1935 through the merger of Fox Film Corporation and Twentieth Century Pictures. The company was founded on May 31, 1935, as the result of the merger of

Century Pictures, founded in 1933 by Darryl F. Zanuck, Joseph Schenck,
Raymond Griffith and William Goetz.

emerged from bankruptcy on December 20, 2010, at which time the
