State of Testing
• With exceptions duly noted, the days of zero-options
paper-and-pencil testing and manual grading are
numbered:
• too labor intensive,
• too prone to error,
• too un-manageable,
• too easily shared.

State of Testing
• And in its place, online, feature-rich testing that not
only saves time but provides test authors and test
administrators with a set of tools that enrich the testing
experience--not to mention:
• automatically grading tests,
• storing test data
• saving the un-sung test administrator/jack-of-all-
trades

Using Media
• Media expands the testing experience and enables
test authors to instruct as well as assess.
• Part of this enriched testing experience includes a set
of media options:
• There's media per question and
• Media feedback during and/or after the test
• Select audio, video, flash and text assets
• Link to external assets
• Create multiple media banks, organized however you wish
• Embed media in the question or answer fields
• Access external media resources through URL links
