IGDIs are a set of evidence-based literacy assessments for preschoolers that measure important skills individually. They are quick to administer, standardized, and allow scores and results to be recorded and analyzed centrally online. The assessments were developed in the 1990s at universities and have a large existing user network in preschools across the United States.
