• Seperti gelombang radio lemah, area pendeteksian bisa berkurang, atau kunci tidak bisa
dideteksi dalam situasi sebagai berikut :
1. Batere kunci habis
2. Segala fasilitas yang membangkitkan gelombang radio tinggi seperti menara TV,
Pembangkit listrik, Stasiun pemancar, Pom Bensin otomatis, berada didekat area
pemeriksaan
3. Peralatan Wireless seperti cellular phone dibawa bersama kunci
4. Kunci terhubung atau ditutupi dengan logam (metal)
5. wireless door lock control yang lain sedang dioperasikan didekat kendaraan
6. Kunci berada di dekat lokasi peralatan yang membangkitkan tegangan tinggi atau noise
• Kunci kemungkinan sulit dioperasikan sehubungan dengan bentuk body kendaraan
• Kunci kemungkinan tidak dideteksi secara tepat disekitar kaca kendaraan, handle pintu, atau di
tengah bumper meskipun saat itu area pendeteksian berada pada bagian luar kendaraan
• Kunci kemungkinan tidak dideteksi secara tepat jika berada di instrument panel, rear
package tray, floor, atau di dalam glove box meskipun saat itu area pendeteksian berada pada
bagian dalam kendaraan
• Smart system tidak dapat bekerja pada kondisi sebagai berikut :
1. Smart system sedang di cancel
2. Batere kunci habis / kosong (indicator tidak berkedip saat tombol kunci ditekan)

When it is necessary to stop the engine compulsorily in the emergency etc. while driving, it can stop the engine by pushing engine switch 3 sec. or more

Unlock once with the UNLOCK button of the key
Open the driver’s door within 5 seconds
Unlock twice with the UNLOCK button of the key within 5 seconds
Alternately close and open of the driver’s door twice within 30 seconds
Unlock twice with the UNLOCK button of the key within 30 seconds
Alternately open and close of the driver’s door 1 times within 30 seconds, and open again
Close the driver’s door within 5 seconds
NOTE: When Smart Entry & Start System is deactivated, the wireless door lock buzzer sounds once.
To return to the Smart Entry & Start System activation condition, perform the procedures again. When Smart Entry & Start System is activated, the wireless door lock buzzer sounds twice.
Other functions for Smart Entry & Start System
Warning function;
The key carried out in the vehicle (door open and close except driver’s door) with the power source mode is other than “OFF”
Engine switch operation or door lock/unlock operation was operated without the key
Door lock operation was operated while the key is still in the vehicle
Low capacity of key battery
Battery saving function;
Oscillator sends the signal every 250 ms normally. To prevent battery dropping, oscillator operation is changed (as vehicle in stock)
1st: Every 250 ms to 750 ms / No response more than 5 days
2nd: Deactivation / No response more than 14 days
Key and Vehicle Battery Savings;
If key is in actuation area more than 10 minutes without no operation, system is automatically deactivated
The steering lock system consists of a steering lock motor, steering lock ECU, Hall ICs / magnet (for lock bar position detection) and lock bar.
The steering lock ECU is included in the steering lock actuator.
Impossible to register already used keys in a used certification ECU

Lock / unlock the door twice by manual door lock switch ([Door unlock] > Lock > Unlock > Lock > Unlock)
I. Close / open driver’s door twice ([Door open] > Close > Open > Close > Open)II. Lock / unlock the door once ([Door unlock] > Lock > Unlock)

This mode is selected automatically when the key are not registered to certification ECUWireless buzzer sounds 4 times (short sound)

Not registered: Go to step 2
One or more registered: Start first step
Touch engine switch with all registered keys one by one- Recognition: (one key) Buzzer sounds once (short sound), (all registered key) buzzer sounds twice (short and long sound) - Failure: Buzzer sounds once (long sound)
Touch engine switch with a key to be registered- Recognition: Buzzer sounds once (short sound)- Failure: Buzzer sounds once (long sound)
Set the key on the front passenger seat- Recognition: Buzzer sounds once (short sound)- Failure: Buzzer sounds once (long sound)
Repeat steps (2 and 3) by an increment of a key to be registered
Open driver’s door ([Door close] > Door open)Wireless buzzer sounds 3 times (short sound)
