12. This is a poem about a great man
Who fought a great war to set free his land
And after he died for his part in the war
People remember his Freedom and more.
Some say he killed his foes
with poison acid from his toes
or fire from his eyes did come
and lightning said shot from his bum.
No matter superpowers
or the fact he didn't take frequent showers
he's the reason Scotland's not lost
my hero William Wallace.
Unknown strength, courage and bravery
were what he used in battle you see
nobody knew the good ol' boy
would someday the English destroy.
13. Born in twelve hundred seventy
he rose a man of liberty
then he was peaceful guy
that was until the arrows took flight.
He started out an innocent
did his chores and paid the rent
then came Edward's reign of hell
where William rang the freedom bell.
They killed his secret love to start
so he killed their Sheriff of Lanark
along with his friends Hamish* and Steven too
brought down the house like an all night dance crew.
He inspired every Scottish man
and made sure they thought "yes I can"
so when it came to fight for rights
no one stayed back to fly their kites.
14. William Wallace led the charge
against an army three times as large
Stirling, Falkirk, Louden Hill
his kills totaled up to 'bout a mil.
Later in war betrayed by some flippin spivs
said "every man dies but not every man really lives"
that's all he said while inside his cell
Let us just say I wouldn't've taken that well.
No matter how much they stabbed and they pulled
while on that board he was his most bold
defying king Edward even in his death
yelled out his "Freedom" upon his last breath.
Sir Williams legacy doesn't end at the noose
or even as soon as his head did come loose
He had made friends with Robert the Bruce
who honored William and gave no excuse.
