Support for Analytic & Attribute Views
• Virtual Tables can now be included along with
Physical tables when creating an Analytic &
Attribute Views
• This is don’t use a new ‘migration wizard’ using
the “Mass Copy” feature from HANA Studio.
• When adding a Virtual Table to an
Analytic/Attribute View these are automatically
migrated to Calc Views

Other supported features for Remote Sources
 Alter support for Remote Source
The ALTER REMOTE SOURCE statement alters an existing external data source. This is used to
change the connection information, adapter type or technical user credentials.
 HANA to HANA push-down enhancements, for e.g.
 Support of simple statistics for virtual tables
With SPS 08 support for SIMPLE statistics on VIRTUAL TABLES delivers a faster way to create basic
statistics, such as min, max, null count, count, distinct count.
• Support for VARBINARY data type on Virtual Table
