diseases. The initiative encourages local governments,
non-government organizations, the private sector, and all

Go for a walk, jog or run
Go for a bike ride
Park your vehicle further from your destination
Organize a neighbourhood street hockey, baseball,
basketball or soccer game
Play beach volleyball
Do yard work or help a neighbour with theirs
Use the stairs, not the elevator
Walk to the corner store, don’t drive
Hike and explore nature
Go on a picnic
Rollerblade the Kate Pace Way
Go canoeing, kayaking, sailing or wind-surfing
Go 24 hours without television, computer or phones
Go 24 hours without junk foods and fast foods
Try a class at 3 Fires Martial Arts Academy (not-
for-profit): 10-11am youth & 12-2pm adults on
June 7th
Do yoga, zumba or another group exercise class
available at the YMCA and area gyms
Walk a dog at the North Bay and District Human
Society (10am-4pm on June 7th)
Play tennis! The Nipissing District Tennis Club is
opening free to the public on June 7th, 9am –
5pm, same day bookings or walk-ons only
